Academic Education

Nagatech (UK) is an academic education consultancy formed to support the delivery of a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professorship in Digital Safety and Security hosted at Cranfield University, including supporting programmes and spin-out activities.

We are resourced by non-commercial organisations to develop educational partnerships and programmes, and to build networks and communities around shared goals based on the objectives in the Digital Safety and Security Visiting Professorship programme.

We do early stage prototyping to prove that something is do-able and then iterate and refine, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and scale-up. We report our results in the public domain.

Current projects with partners include:

• Building a deaf awareness teaching community of practice for Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professors and other academics and staff at UK organisations
• Implementing peer-to-peer mentoring across sectors and generations, focussing on engineering and related disciplines, in co-operation with the Royal Academy of Engineering and other charitable organisations based in the UK
• Trialling approaches to teaching cybersecurity in context of safety (aviation and related Critical National Infrastructure) for a range of post-graduate programmes delivered by Cranfield University

We work by invitation-only with a select range of education and non-commercial funding partners to contribute to the UK’s aims in engineering, supporting broader goals in sustainability, safety and security to support society, in the UK and beyond.
